How to Create an Account and Access your Messages on Avaros Patient Messenger

  1. Access Your Email Account
    Open your email and locate the 'no-reply' message. ​Check your spam or junk folder if it's not in your inbox.
  2. Open the Message
    Click "View Your Message." A Medley login pop-up will appear.
  3. Create Your Account
    Enter your date of birth, password, and confirm your password. Then, click "Next."
  4. Enter Health Card Information
    You’ll be prompted to provide your health card number and the two-letter version code, which is located next to your ten-digit health card number. Click "Next."
  5. Access the Appointments Page
    After logging in, you’ll be directed to your main (Appointments) page. To view your messages, click the mail icon (the second icon at the bottom). A red number will appear next to the icon if you have unread messages.
  6. View and Acknowledge Messages
    Click the mail icon to access your messages. To confirm you’ve received a message, click the green "Acknowledge" button.
  7. View or share Attachments
    If there are attachments (such as lab results or requisitions), you can view them and share them via message or email.

Switching Between Multiple Patient Accounts using one Login

  1. Access Your Email Account
    Open your email and find the no-reply message. If it's not in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder.
  2. Open the Message
    Click "View Your Message." A Medley login pop-up will appear.
  3. Log In
    Enter your email and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, click "Forgot Your Password?" and follow the prompts. If you don’t have an account, follow the instructions to create one.
  4. Access Your Account
    Once logged in, you’ll see the "Appointments" page. To view your messages, click the mail icon (the second icon at the bottom). A red number will indicate any new unread messages.
  5. Switch Accounts
    To switch between patient accounts, click on your initials in the circle at the top left. This will show all patient charts linked to your email.
  6. Check Messages for Each Account
    Select each account to check for new messages. In the example above, we clicked on Michael Test’s account.
  7. View and Acknowledge Messages
    After selecting an account, click the mail icon again to access messages. Click the green "Acknowledge" button to confirm receipt of a message. A red number will indicate any new unread messages.
  8. View or share Attachments
    If there are attachments (such as lab results or requisitions), you can view them and share them via message or email.
